Congratulations to VCCDC’s Director of Lending Services, Alex Vega, for his 10 years of service and valuable role in helping families achieve the dream of homeownership throughout Ventura County!
Alex is responsible for supervising and evaluating all lending staff; for developing, updating, and monitoring adherence to VCCDC’s lending policies and procedures. He administers the Organization’s lending programs, and underwrites subordinate loan files to ensure compatibility with program guidelines and accuracy in form. Alex conducts annual loan portfolio reviews with support from lending staff to ensure compliance with funder guidelines.
Under Alex’s leadership, the VCCDC lending division has provided over $5,000,000 in down payment assistance to first-time homebuyers in Ventura and Santa Barbara County. He holds a B.A. in International Business Administration, has over fifteen years of financing experience. He is a licensed real estate broker and endorsed by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System.
