VCCDC is happy to introduce the newest member of our team, Felipe Flores. Felipe joins VCCDC as the Homeownership Program Manager for the Education and Counseling division. Felipe comes to VCCDC with more than 15 years in the areas of architecture, construction, project management, and community outreach. In his most current position at Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County Felipe was responsible for community outreach and the development of relationships to further advance the agency’s mission including the oversight and expansion of the Preserve a Home Program and Neighborhood Revitalization. His experience is enhanced by his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Universidad Autonoma de Aguascalientes. He has a passion for volunteering in the community including volunteering as Vice Chair for the City of Oxnard Commission on Homelessness and President of the Rotary Club Oxnard Sunrise. As Homeownership Program Manager, Felipe is responsible for the overall leadership of the Education and Counseling Division which includes financial coaching programs, homebuyer education and counseling programs, and foreclosure-intervention counseling services.
