Medi-Cal members will need to be prepared to redetermine their eligibility to ensure those who are eligible keep their Medi-Cal coverage or help transition them to another type of coverage. If your contact information or household circumstances have changed, please update your information today. This may help you keep your Medi-Cal coverage. CalFresh Emergency Allotments ending in March. The temporary CalFresh Emergency Allotments that provided a minimum of $95 for CalFresh households are ending. CalFresh Emergency Allotments were authorized under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act of 2020. The last month CalFresh Emergency Allotments will be issued is March 2023. Beginning in April 2023, your CalFresh benefits will return to the regular amount.

FREE Tax Help If you earned under $60,000 in 2022, you may be eligible for free tax preparation and filing, and you may qualify for State and Federal Earned Income Tax Credit through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Self-employed workers, families and those with ITINs earning up to $30,000 are eligible for the CalEITC. Free tax preparation and filing assistance continues through April 30.
