VCCDC Partners with Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County

VCCDC is proud to announce its partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County (HFHVC). VCCDC most recently worked with HFHVC on its First and Hayes project in Oxnard by providing specialized mortgage financing and pre-purchase counseling for the low-income families selected for the 6 for-sale units. HFHVC has looked to VCCDC, a leader in affordable housing financing, for guidance in the development and implementation of an affordable housing sales program for HFHVC developments. This includes conducting eligibility and affordable housing cost analysis as well as loan underwriting for upcoming developments. Prospective HFHVC homeowners will also work with VCCDC’s HUD-certified Homeownership Specialists to monitor income, credit, savings and debt in order to assist each family in maintaining their eligibility and loan qualification status until the closing of escrow. With this partnership VCCDC looks forward to sharing its expertise with Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County to make an even larger collective impact in our community.
