Welcome to our Newest Board Member, Jasmine Padilla
We're thrilled to welcome our newest Board Member, Jasmine Padilla, onto VCCDC's Board of Directors. Not only does she bring a range of skills and experience from the Education Field, but she is also a recipient of our Homeownership Program and purchased her Bakersfield home last year. You can read a little more about her in her bio below.
"I was born in California and raised in the central valley. I was raised in a single-family home and I am the oldest of three. I attended California State University, Bakersfield, earning both my undergraduate and graduate degree in Business and Public Administration, concentration in Business Management (2009) and Educational Counseling, emphasis in Student Affairs (2012). I have been employed with the California State University system for (eleven, 11) years as a student service professional working for the Division of Student Affairs. In my role, I am dedicated to serving college-going students and helping them achieve their academic and professional goals through educational resources and service connections. I credit the majority of my professional and personal success to my parents and grandparents. I am passionate and dedicated about my faith, family, physical/mental wellness, and advocating for underserved communities to enhance their financial and personal opportunities."
